On 16 May E.F.S. welcomed two new team members: Charlotte Franken and Myles van Heerden. Charlotte and Myles have joined the E.F.S.- team as Account & Business Manager for the Benelux market.
Charlotte
As a recent graduate in Animal Sciences at Wageningen University and Research, Charlotte will take place in the sales team of E.F.S.-Holland. There she will be responsible for the technical sales support.
During her Bachelor’s degree, she wrote her thesis on pig nutrition. While her Master’s degree she specialized in global and sustainable production systems with a thesis topic about feed-food competition in pig production systems. Charlotte completed her Master’s internship at Royal GD in Deventer, where she worked on a vaccine study in veal calves and developed practical skills.
Myles
Myles van Heerden graduated from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, with a degree in Animal Science after which he spent some time in the aquaculture industry before making his way into the animal feed and food sector as a consulting nutritionist.
As a nutritionist Myles developed products and provided technical support to a clientele spanning throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe leading many pet food projects from concept to market.
After the birth of his daughter, he with his family made the move to the Netherlands where shortly afterwards he found his was to us at E.F.S.-Holland. Myles will support the sales and technical initiative of the business.
We warmly welcome both of them to the compound feed sector and wish them all the best with their new role/position in the E.F.S.-team.
